Damodar Kunda Lake is one of the holiest lakes located in Nepal. Damodar Kunda is considered as the origin point for Shaligram which is known as reincarnation of Lord Vishu as per Hindu methodology. Damodar Lake is located in altitude of 4890 meters.
Our Damodar Kunda Trekking combines trekking experience at Upper Mustang area which is restricted area in Nepal thus require special permit. Damodar Kunda trek has been open for tourist in the year of 2002 for all trekkers & Pilgrimage foreigners. Now your dream to Damodar Kunda Trek can be fulfilled. We will recommend to you visit during August every year, because every year there is a big festival up there and many pilgrimages Hindu and Buddhist visit at this time of August. Usually, you can visit in April to September as well every year. From, a little bit higher than the lake, the views around there are great looking.
