Nar Phu Valley Trek
Nar Phu Valley Trek is one of the less-traveled treks in the Annapurna region. It was opened for trekking in 2003 and required a special trekking permit due to the restricted area. The unusual trip to Nar Phu is wild. With very few settlements along the way, this hike gives hikers an authentic feel for nature and allows them to be closer to nature. The route leads through a variable topography that includes rugged hills, dry terrain, various rivers, peaks, and high passes as well as glaciers.
