Frequently Asked Questions

How safe is paragliding in Pokhara?

We work very seriously on Paraglider’s safety. Commercial flight in which non-flyers fly in tandem flights remains within the security margins and the equipment used is never compromised. It’s about your pilots’ well-being and your well-being while flying and no pilot will compromise your safety, least of all you. Most daytime flights depart from Sarangkot Hill, near Pokhara. This area offers excellent views, predictable flight conditions, most pilots fly very regularly, and flights take off from a controlled takeoff area on a grassy slope and land near the lake. Flight safety in Pokhara is as good as any right commercial flying zone in the world.

Will I get sick during the flight?

If you are prone to dizziness, you are less likely to get sick during the flight. Usually, the actual flight time does not exceed 45 minutes, and the flight is so exciting that there is no time to get sick. However, if you do, you can let the pilot know, and he will try to land in less time. Make sure you eat and drink well the night before.

What a wonderful experience. Our pilot was great, friendly, and we felt very safe. He also pointed out several points of interest. We also have 100+ photos and a couple of videos.

    Best Paragliding in Nepal, Pokhara

My husband and I went paragliding with our 15-year-old son in Pokhara. We booked an 11:30 am flight as we couldn’t catch the early flight. The view of the snow-capped mountains is best early in the day. They picked us up from the hotel and took us to their office. From there, they put us in a jeep with our guides and climbed a mountain. It was an experience in itself. The guides did a great job explaining what to do at takeoff. The flight lasted 25 minutes. My husband and son loved it. The guides personalize the flight according to our wishes. The only downside was waiting for the DVD to burn when we got back to the office. It takes a lot more than you might expect. Try to catch the flight as soon as possible for the best view of the snow-capped mountains. The view is better the day after the rain.
