Peace stupa hike is 5 hours walking to reach Peace stupa built in hill top surrounding Pokhara with majestic view of Annapurna ranges with valley floor.
The World Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist monument on a hilltop in Pumdi Bhumdi. It is situated at a height of around 3600 feet (1100 m) and was built by Morioka Sonin, a Nipponzan-Myohoji monk, with local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist monk and the founder of Nipponzan-Myohoji. The shrine was built as a symbol of peace, and has become a famous tourist attraction as it provides a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city and Phewa Lake.
Your guide will come at your hotel in Pokhara located in Lakeside area. You will follow and walk to Phewa Lake. Board the boat to cross the lake. After crossing the lake you will start 3 hours uphill climb to reach to the stupa built on the top overlooking Pokhara valley floor with majestic Annapurna ranges.
You will spend time at top admiring the views. Later trek down to lake by visiting typical settlements located on the way. Reach to boat boarding point and return back to the other side of the lake towards the town area. Walk to your hotel with guide.
