Tiji festival means “The chasing of the Demons” which is celebrated to worship God and ensure safe and healthy life of locals by swiping all negative and evil powers. After Mani Rimdhu festival Tiji Festival is the biggest celebration on the Himalayas. Tiji consists of three-day of Tibetan rituals. Generally Tiji Festival falls in the month of May as per calendar.
